Our Founder
Haritha Haridas is a trained Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam performer and teacher with 30+ years of classical dance experience who has performed across 100+ events and programs in both India and Singapore. She is currently the Founder Director and Lead Instructor at the Medasvi School of Dance in Singapore.
Apart from being a B.Tech Civil Engineering degree holder, Haritha also holds a Masters in Fine Arts (MFA Bharatanatyam) from SASTRA University - Thanjavur, done under the aegis of the legendary dansuese Padmabhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam and her team.
Her extensive original training was under the tutelage of Kerala Sahitya Akademi recipient Smt. Shyamala Surendran (disciple of Kalamandalam Kalyanikutty Amma for Mohiniyattam and the Dhananjayans for Bharatanatyam) at the Dharani School of Performing Arts (Kochi, Kerala). Since July 2024, Haritha has been pursuing Diploma for Dance Teacher Training (Sikhshapurna) at Darshan Educational & Charitable Trust, conducted under the aegis of eminent scholar Dr. C P Unnikrishnan while also pursuing advanced Mohiniyattam training under Smt. Sandra Pisharody.

-> Natyasarvabhouma International Award 2022 by Natyaranjini - Centre for Dance
Excellence, for significant contribution to the Mohiniyattam art form in Singapore.
-> Lead performer in Dharani productions (Shree Shakti, Tatwamasi, Chitoorappan).
-> Multiple Mohiniyattam ensembles at "Ente Veedu, My Home - Malayalees in Singapore", a one-year exhibition hosted by the Indian Heritage Centre, Singapore.
-> Mohiniyattam performances for India's 75th Republic Day celebrations at the High Commission of India (Singapore).
